Word Cloud guide
Build a live Word Cloud
Word Cloud is an available question type within the existing Poll workflow.
Explore Word Cloud- 1Create or edit a poll and select Word Cloud as the question type.
- 2Write a prompt that can be answered in up to three words.
- 3Launch the poll and send the Word Cloud question.
- 4Participants submit short text responses; repeated ideas become more prominent on the live display.
- 5Use Moderate words in the Host view to hide a visible word or restore a hidden word.

Common questions
How do participants join?
Share the player link, room code or QR code. Participants do not need their own PollNQuiz account.
What does the host control?
The host prepares the live room, launches the activity, sends the current question and progresses through a quiz or poll set.
How does Word Cloud moderation work?
On an active Word Cloud question, the host can enable moderation, select a visible word, confirm that it should be hidden and restore hidden words later.
Where can I see results?
Live results appear in the Host and Display experiences. Recorded quiz sessions and poll results remain available in the dashboard; exports follow existing plan rules.
Is Word Cloud available?
Yes. It is available as a Poll question type, rather than as a separate activity bank.
What can I try before creating an account?
The guest creation flow supports starting a quiz or poll draft. An account is required to save and host the activity.
